Harry Potter tour opens

Harry Potter Tour

The 'Warner Bros Studio Tour London' opens at Leavesden Studios, near Watford on 31 March.

On the three hour self-guided walking tour, visitors can see a huge array of Harry Potter film sets, costumes and props.

Fans can also learn how creatures were brought to life with green screen effects, animatronics and life-sized models. Facilities include free parking, a cafe and gift shop.

Tickets are £28 for ages 16+, £21 for children aged 5-15 and must be pre-purchased via the tour website.

A new focus for Trestle


Trestle, the St Albans based theatre company has just announced a new focus on expanding its acclaimed mask-making activities and developing performance work for 11 to 25-year-olds. Read their statement on our blog.



Museums plan

Old Town Hall

St Albans Council has announced a new 10-year vision to improve the City's museums. Plans include the development of the Town Hall in Market Place as a new city centre museum over the next five years, and the expansion and improvement of Verulamium Museum to provide more exhibition space and educational facilities.
