The Kate D'Arcy Award for exceptional customer service
Nominate your favourite individual working in the food and drink industry
This award has been created in memory of Kate D’Arcy, co-founder of Darcy’s Restaurant.
It will be given to an individual who has exceeded normal expectation by providing outstanding service and delivering a faultless experience.
The award is open to anyone in the local food and drink industry (for example, a waiter/waitress, manager, market stall trader, shop owner and so on).
As with all the Food and Drink Festival Awards, nominees for the special Kate D’Arcy
Award must work within St Albans City and District.

The entries will be judged by representatives from Darcy’s Restaurant and the Food and Drink Festival committee. • A range of factors will be considered including consistency, knowledge, attention to detail, personality and empathy.
• The winner will be announced at the Food and Drink Festival Awards ceremony.
They will be presented with a special ‘star’ trophy in recognition of their
outstanding service. • Closing date for nominations is 30th September 2011 at
5pm.
